Wheel pose is my favorite pose of all time!  As a child, I learned it as “bridge” in gymnastics and I am still getting used to calling it a wheel!  I love how much it helps open the chest and shoulders while testing your strength and endurance.  If you ever see me in person, chances are that I will ask to get a pic with you doing a wheel!

Quick Tips

  • Start from bridge pose and really tuck the feet under the booty before working on the arms
  • Make sure you are pushing from your elbows through the palms of your hands and that your arms aren’t spreading apart
  • Once up in the air, squeeze the booty and press the chest open for an awesome stretch
  • Don’t land on your head! If you are practicing getting up, tuck ur chin to your chest to make sure you aren’t relying on your head/neck to hold you up
