“Most discoveries even today are a combination of serendipity and of searching.” – Siddhartha Mukherjee

Serendipity is much like sailing, you set your course for a certain heading with the understanding that the wind, waves and current will inevitably guide you in a completely different direction. It’s understanding that this is all part of the journey that will allow you to get to your destination. Just as the stars can be steady while navigating the dizzying seas, so can the hearts true north, love. Follow it.
Sometimes, what you think you’re searching for is simply the tool necessary to get you where you are truly meant to be. Throughout my life, one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is to allow for leeway in where I am going. What I mean by this is that, what I thought I was headed for years ago, is completely different from what I am doing now. However, one thing has been consistent in all of my aspirations 👉 the purpose of my life is to love and be loved in return. 💓

I’ve lived so many lives and so many circumstances that it’s hard to believe it’s all been within my lifetime. When I was young, I lived wild and free (and maybe a bit dangerously)… all for love. Then, I headed down the aisle of settling down and establishing my career… all for love. But broke free of the chains of conformity and started dancing to the beat of my own drum while exercising my entrepreneurial spirit and satisfying my senses… all for love. And yet, somehow still found myself in the woods, up a creek, without a paddle… looking for love. Until one day, my solitude sailed into a new realm of soul searching where my “goals” became just avenues for me to experience that true adventure called “love”. Now, I welcome the changing tides into my life because I feel it is what leads me to the love I wish to share from deep inside the ocean of my being. Where this life will take me is not truly a destination but rather a feeling, which is the ultimate paradise.
